If you want to look good for a night out then you need to think about more than just the outfit you're wearing. Of course having a nice matching top and bottoms with whatever else you want to accessorise will help and if it's not ironed or it's badly out of date you can forget attracting the opposite sex. But what about the person underneath the clothes? No not your personality... your skin, your face, your hair and importantly your teeth, and fortunately there are some quick fixes you can use that will make your teeth look brighter while also improving your skin tone and your general looks.
The first thing you need to do then is make sure that your facial hair is in check. If you're a woman that means plucking or waxing quickly (you can't look good on a night out with a tash showing). If this is a consistent problem then think of other options to get rid of any hair more permanently. For men you should shave - either to remove that pesky 7 O'clock shadow, or to keep your well crafted facial hair trim and in place. This will not only make your skin appear smoother and make you look sharper, but will also make your teeth appear whiter and your whole smile look better.
Next you need to improve your skin tone. This can be done a variety of ways, but an exfoliating rub will help bring out your natural glow beneath your dead skin cells.
For women there's obviously the option to use a foundation, which you should apply evenly and not too liberally. Try to go just a shade darker than your natural skin tone to look a little 'bronzed' and remember to cover your neck line too. For men a bit of fake tan can also work as can self tanning moisturiser. This will not only give your skin a healthier glow, but will also make your teeth appear whiter in contrast and they will appear to almost glow. This is a great quick trick to get your teeth looking immediately whiter before you head out. For women, adding a bold lipstick can also bring out the teeth more and make them appear whiter, as well as making the lips themselves more attractive and noticeable.
Which brings us on nicely to the teeth themselves. And obviously you will want to clean these thoroughly before a night out, even if you wouldn't normally clean them at that time. As well as brushing thoroughly though you might also want to use a mouthwash which can help keep your breath smelling fresher (no matter how good you look no one will come near you if your breath stinks) as well as some floss which can remove any trapped bits of food from between your teeth (and also kills bacteria). You can carry some floss with you in a handbag or in your pocket for quick fixes (also helpful is a compact mirror) and some compact breath freshener to keep yourself looking and smelling great.
